Come Sunday to the open house at 63 Dohrman Ave – a just listed Teaneck home for sale at $525,000. This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath colonial on a quiet suburban street. The open house is 1-4 pm and I hope to see you there.
Dohrman Isn’t An Avenue
I have always been puzzled by the fact that they call Dohrman an Avenue because it’s only 1 block long. This truly is a very quiet street. Dohrman is a quaint suburban street with very few cars traveling on it. Let’s take a look at what 63 Dohrman has to offer you.

Commuting To Work
63 Dohrman Ave has a fabulous location for New York City commuters. The New Jersey Transit Turnpike Express #167 Bus is only a 5 minute walk away. The bus stop is right at Parker Lane. According to NJ Transit’s website, it’s a 27 minute trip to the Port Authority Mid Town Bus Terminal on this Turnpike Express Bus. Well that depends on traffic but it’s safe to say you’ll be in Manhattan in less than 1 hour.

Teaneck As A Location
The Township of Teaneck is actually a Bergen County City because it has more than 25,000 people. There are 41,246 residents according to the US Census. Because Teaneck is so big, I always think of it as a lot of small towns in one big space. Each part of Teaneck NJ has it’s own unique character and charm.
Teaneck is known for having beautiful Tudor style colonial homes. These houses have a lot of character having been built mostly between 1925 and World War II. You also find a large number of classic side hall colonial homes too. Many of these were built right after World War II. With it’s streets rimmed by picturesque homes and towering trees, this town has a simply beautiful ambiance.
Teaneck is also a highly diverse location. Here’s an example for you – within 2.5 blocks there’s a Jewish Chabad House, a Church serving both English and Korean speaking Parishes and a Muslim School. Because Teaneck is so diverse, it has a wonderful community spirit. I’d need more than a few blog articles to tell you all that is special about this town. Suffice it to say that this is a very popular Bergen County destination.
So come on out Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 and take a look at this very cute colonial in a terrific location.
