Summer Sale Days in Englewood is back again! It’s a major summer event attracting thousands of shoppers because Englewood’s shopping district is huge.
Englewood has one of the largest business districts in Bergen County. Filled with a variety of retail stores, live theaters and fabulous restaurants, Englewood’s downtown attracts hundreds any day of the week. Summer Sale Days with tons of discounts is a huge deal as a result.
You can see from this flyer that it starts this Thursday and runs through Saturday from 11 to 5 pm daily. You don’t want to miss this because there’s a good number of high end boutique stores that offer amazing discounts too!
Jazz Under the Stars
I’ve written about this wonderful summer program before in my article about outdoor summer concerts in Bergen County. Concerts are at 7:30 pm Thursday nights though August on the front lawn of the Englewood Public Library (31 Engle St – just north of Palisade Ave). These are extremely popular with terrific musicians and singers. Why not enjoy a free concert this week? Go shopping Thursday at the Summer Sale, have dinner and then enjoy a free jazz concert.
Meadowlands Racetrack Seafood Fest 
Like seafood? Are you a fan of horse racing? You are? Then you’re in for a treat. This Saturday, July 31st, is the annual Seafood Fest at the Meadowlands Race Track followed by qualifying races for The Hambletonian. This is a very popular annual event with tons of delicious seafood from local restaurants and food trucks. It opens up at 5 pm and runs through 11 pm. Racing starts at 6:20 pm.
Hackensack Food Truck Fridays
You’ll find a large assortment of food trucks on Fridays from 11:30 pm to 2:30 pm on the Green (1-23 Washington Pl). Look for the lawn across from the north side of the Bergen County Courthouse.
Christmas in July
Rochelle Park has a different take on street fairs. They call it Christmas in July and this has it all, Retail vendors, food trucks, bouncy fun for kids, music etc. This happens on Sunday, July 25th, from 12 noon to 5 pm at the American Legion (33 W Passaic St).
Summer Sale Days
So there you have it. The Englewood Sale Days and Rochelle Park Christmas in July are 2 street fairs you really don’t want to miss. Seafood lovers will have a blast at the Meadowlands Seafood Fest and there’s those food trucks in Hackensack.
