Bergen County Players The Bergen County Players casting call for their production of the musical Ruthless  is today.  It’s not too late to audition for this award winning Broadway musical that’s a spoof of some terrific Broadway musicals such as Gypsy and Auntie Mame.

Auditions are being held two more times on Monday and Tuesday at 7:30 pm.  For further information you can contact Steve Bell by email at BCPSteve@aol.com and there’s also their website  All auditions are held at the theater (298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell).

Bergen County has several well established live theater groups which put on excellent productions.  BCP has a rich history of doing so dating back to 1945.

The current production is Around The World in 80 Days  which runs through March 8th followed by To Kill A Mockingbird  To Kill A Mockingbird starts it’s production on March 22nd and runs through April 12th.  Ruthless is next starting on May 3rd and ending on June 12th.  Go to the Bergen County Players website for times and ticket prices.

Live theater is alive and well in Bergen County.  Bergen County Players is among our very best.  I have gone to several of their productions myself.  It’s really been a lot of fun and it’s not expensive.  Tickets cost anywhere from $11 to $24 usually.  Parking is free on the street.  You can also park in a lot across the street too and there’s another lot behind that one.

Don’t forget about Cool Beans next door where you can get a nice meal, dessert and outstanding coffee and tea.  You can have a wonderful night out.  Get something to eat at Cool Beans, then enjoy the show and go back to Cool Beans for dessert.

The Bergen County Players is a wonderful local live theater.  Because they put on many well attended productions every year, they are about to celebrate their 85th years.  Give it a try.  You will be so glad you did.

Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it
was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole
thing. Do you have any tips for novice blog writers?

    I’d really appreciate it.
